Why we use it
For F-chassis FEM/BDC + DME ISN pairing, CGDI BMW is faster than the general-purpose tools and well-documented. Native FEM data handling is more reliable than retrofitted CAS3/4 tools attempting F-chassis work.
When we reach for it
Every F-chassis BMW key job (2013+ 3-Series, 5-Series F10, 6-Series F12/F13, etc.). FEM/BDC ISN read + DME pairing. CAS4/CAS4+ when speed matters.
What it doesn't do
BMW-only — useless for any other brand. Not the right tool for G-chassis (G20/G30) which need different encryption support entirely.
