Will This Fix My Problem?
Honest answer: here's exactly what this service fixes — and what it doesn't.
Fixes:
- ✓Original PCM failed / water-damaged and you have a donor to clone onto
- ✓Replacing a dead module without a dealer trip or tow
- ✓Used/donor PCM that needs your VIN + immo data written to it
- ✓Want a spare programmed identical to the original
Won't fix:
- ✗No donor module to clone onto (we need both the original and a matching donor)
- ✗Emissions defeat, delete files, or emissions-bypass services (we do not offer this)
- ✗Mechanical engine faults unrelated to the PCM
Original unreadable? We can often still recover it.
If your original PCM is damaged but partially readable, we can usually still pull the VIN + immobilizer data needed to clone onto a healthy donor. Include both modules and a note describing the failure. If the original is completely dead we will tell you before any work and refund if we cannot complete the clone.
