Will This Fix My Problem?

Honest answer: here's exactly what this service fixes — and what it doesn't.

Fixes:

  • Preparing a tuned Mopar for warranty / dealer service
  • Selling or returning a leased Charger / Challenger / Ram / Grand Cherokee that was tuned
  • Failed aftermarket tune flash — module in unstable state
  • Removing a performance tune before emissions inspection
  • Recovering from a "computer says modified" warranty denial

Won't fix:

  • Hardware-failed PCM (this flashes software, doesn't repair the board)
  • Modules with no OEM calibration available (rare; we tell you upfront if so)
  • Restoring the engine to stock after physical modifications (only the cal is restored)
  • Unlocking a GPEC2 / GPEC2A for tuning — see our GPEC PCM Unlocking service

Ford or GM module instead?

Ford and GM PCMs/ECMs/TCMs run a different toolchain and are priced at $250. Use our Ford / GM Stock OEM Re-Programming service for those.

Frequently Asked

Still have a question? Text us — replies in minutes.

Will this fool the dealer's scan tool?
The scan tool will see factory calibration values — it will not detect an aftermarket calibration. The dealer's normal diagnostic flow does not flag a module that reads as stock. (Physical engine modifications still show themselves through other channels — we restore the software, not the hardware.)
Why is Mopar $350 when Ford / GM is $250?
Modern Chrysler / Dodge / Jeep / Ram modules (GPEC2 / GPEC2A especially) need extra security handling and a longer bench process than Ford / GM PCMs. The price reflects the added work.
Can I re-tune AFTER you reflash to stock?
Yes. The module is unrestricted after the reflash. If your GPEC2 / GPEC2A was previously unlocked and you want it unlocked again for tuning, see our GPEC PCM Unlocking service.
Do I need to tell you what tune was on it?
Helpful but not required. We capture the pre-flash data automatically. Knowing the tune vendor + approx power level helps us verify the reflash overwrote everything correctly.
What if the OEM calibration isn't available for my VIN?
We carry the most current Chrysler / Dodge / Jeep / Ram factory calibration archives. If your VIN-specific cal isn't available (very rare — typically only on brand-new model years), we tell you upfront and refund.
