Honest answer: here's exactly what this service fixes — and what it doesn't.
Fixes:
- ✓Volvo won't start, car not recognizing the key
- ✓Failed / dead CEM with no communication

Won't fix:
- ✗Remote fob button (lock/unlock) programming — mail-in bench work produces a START/valet key only; remote-fob programming on Volvo requires an ON-CAR J2534 session we do not currently offer
- ✗Mechanical key-blade or door-lock-barrel faults
- ✗Physically water-destroyed CEM with unreadable memory
- ✗Engine / fuel / charging no-starts unrelated to immobilizer
- ✗Aftermarket-alarm or wiring faults outside the CEM

Ship your CEM (plus the ECM and a key for all-keys-lost jobs) to PO Box 120241, Arlington TX 76012 if you ship USPS — or 1009 Oakwood Ln # 120241, Arlington TX 76012 if you ship UPS or FedEx (UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to a PO Box). If you need a key blade cut and don't have the key code, also include a door lock cylinder. NOTE: mail-in CEM work programs the START (transponder/valet) function — the key starts the car. Remote lock/unlock buttons require a separate on-car J2534 session that is not part of this mail-in service. Return shipping is selected and paid at checkout — Standard $24.95 (3–5 days), UPS 2-Day $54.95, or UPS overnight $94.95; most modules go back within 24 hours.
