Why we need BOTH the DME and the CAS/FEM/BDC
The MEVD172 DME family stores an ISN (Individual Serial Number) that must match the ISN stored in the vehicle's CAS (pre-2013) or FEM/BDC (2013+). On an F-chassis BMW, we can't just write any ISN to the DME — we have to READ your specific CAS/FEM/BDC's stored ISN first, then write it to the donor DME. That's why we need both modules shipped together. After we're done, both modules go back to you and reinstall plug-and-play.

You pay shipping to us. Return shipping is selected and paid at checkout — Standard $24.95 (3–5 days), UPS 2-Day $54.95, or UPS overnight $94.95. Pack BOTH modules together with padding between them.
