Will This Fix My Problem?

Honest answer: here's exactly what this service fixes — and what it doesn't.

Fixes:

  • Replaced cluster shows wrong mileage
  • Upgraded to a higher-trim cluster — needs VIN coding
  • New cluster shows "Theft" or "Wait to Start" and will not crank
  • Passlock counter triggered, vehicle will not start
  • Cluster needs to be matched to a different VIN after swap

Won't fix:

  • Backlight LED failures (separate repair)
  • Stepper motor / needle failures (we program, not rebuild)
  • Physical screen damage

Can you upgrade a base Silverado cluster to an LTZ digital one?
Yes. We program the upgraded cluster to your VIN, sync mileage, and clear anti-theft. The instrument options light up as the upgraded trim.
Will the truck start after install?
Yes. We clear the Passlock / theft-deterrent counter so your existing keys work on the programmed cluster. No dealer trip required.
Do you do mileage rollback?
No. We only sync to the actual recorded mileage of your truck (from ECM, BCM, or your original cluster). Rollbacks are illegal under federal law.
What if my original cluster is destroyed?
Send a photo of the last known odometer reading or a recent inspection record. We sync to that value.
How fast?
24 hours from receipt. We send a photo of the bench-test reading before it ships back.
